Tekscend Photomask Signs Partnership Agreement with Shiga Lakes
TOKYO - December 26, 2024 - Tekscend Photomask (formerly Toppan Photomask) announced that it has signed a Silver Partnership Agreement with Shiga Lakes, a professional basketball team based in Shiga Prefecture, Japan, for the 2024-25 season.
Shiga Lakes is a member of the B.League, Japan's professional basketball league and the only professional sports club based in Shiga Prefecture. In addition to hosting home games, the team contributes to the development of sports culture through community-based activities in all over the prefecture and the SDGs. Shiga Lakes is also expected to make a further progress by joining the B.League Premier, Japan’s top basketball league, which is scheduled to start in 2026.
Tekscend Photomask operates one of its eight global semiconductor photomask manufacturing sites in Higashi-ohmi City, Shiga Prefecture, and one of its key philosophies is to coexist in harmony with the local community. Sharing Shiga Lakes' commitment to both bold challenges and community contributions, Tekscend Photomask decided to support the team as a Silver Partner.
As a Silver Partner for the 2024-25 season, Tekscend Photomask will display its brand logo on the courtside and ring-side scoreboards at the Shiga Daihatsu Arena (Otsu City, Shiga) starting with the game on December 29, and will also broadcast a video advertisement on the arena screens starting in January. Tekscend Photomask will support each game together with the Shiga Lakes Boosters.
